- You must be 18 years of age to shop at Tavex. If you are under 18 or under guardianship, consent from a parent or guardian is required.
- In accordance with police regulations, we must enter the information about the transaction into our purchase and sale book. Therefore, you must present a driver’s license or passport as identification (when shipping, this is done via Veriff verification).
- What do we use your information for:
- Your full name (documentation in the Police’s purchase and sale book)
- Your email (used for contact)
- Your phone number (used for contact)
- Your bank details (used for transfer)
- Your address (documentation in the Police’s purchase and sale book)
- Your date of birth (documentation in the Police’s purchase and sale book)
- Image of your effects (used for comparison with the physical effects)
- Your Veriff authorization (used to verify your identity)
- All information is treated confidentially and used only in connection with this trade.
- What we buy and what we don’t buy
- Tavex accepts the following karats and finenesses in gold:
- 333/8 carats
- 375/9 carats
- 585/14 carats
- 750/18 carats
- 875/21 carats
- 900/21.6 carats
- 917/22 carats
- 999/24 carats (in the form of bars or coins)
- Tavex accepts the following carats and fineness in silver:
- 925/Sterling (min. purchase 100 grams)
- 999/Fine silver (in the form of bars or coins)
- Tavex does not accept metals other than gold and silver in the above carats or below the minimum weight limits. Metals below the limits or other metals are not included in the offer. The customer can have these returned within 30 days for a return fee of DKK 100. After 30 days, these are scrapped by Tavex without notice.
- Tavex accepts the following karats and finenesses in gold:
- The following is accepted when selling gold and silver to Tavex
- Shipments and insurance of packages up to DKK 30,000.
- When Tavex receives the package or the effects in the store, the contents are analyzed and compared with the accompanying photo, which was also received per mail.
When the analysis is complete, an offer is calculated and sent to you per email and telephone. Note that some effects may be scratched or damaged in the process, and stones may break during removal. - If you accept the offer before 17 on weekdays, the transfer starts the same day. NOTE: A fee of 100 DKK will be charged for transfer to your account.
- If you do not wish to accept the offer, we must receive your written rejection. The effects can then be returned for a fee of DKK 100.
- Cut stones or effects without value can also be returned for a fee of DKK 100. If you do not want these effects back, please confirm this per mail.
- In case of package loss
- If your package is lost, we will use your description and picture that we have received per mail, to calculate a possible value.
